Definition: Orientation

Orentation is the oductory stage for the new employee in the intial days of his/her work. It also helps the employee to know the organization, key people, roles and also helps to know new people. Positive things said about the company and policies can go long way in ensuring his loyalty and commitment in the long run .

Training and Development is carried after the orientation session is complete.
