It is a form of telecommunication through messages (digitally) sent by computer to recipients via a network.

Its advantages include that it is very fast, easy to use and you can attach files up to 25mb and if required upload big files through google drive to send to a recipient. Emails don’t use paper and are environment friendly. You can also keep an automated mail such that if you are not present or are on a holiday, the mail will be automatically sent.

Its disadvantages include the security issues which are there; they have been hacked a few times which may lead to misuse of a lot of details. A lot of people send unanimous mails which are called spam and needs to be filtered and at the end of the day, it lacks a personal touch and emotional responses. Sometimes, it results in misunderstanding too.
