Definition: Generation X

Generation X, commonly abbreviated to Gen X, is the generation born between 1965 and 1980 after the Western post–World War II baby boom ended. Members of Generation X are largely in their 30’s and early 40’s. On the whole, they are more ethnically diverse and better educated than the Baby Boomers.
