Definition: Generation Y

Generation Y, commonly abbreviated to Gen Y, is the generation born somewhere from the later-1970s or early 1980s to the mid-2000s. This generation is also called as Echo Boomers. Generation Y is mostly in its 20s and is just entering the workforce.

Generation Y is known for its increased use and familiarity with communications, media, and digital technologies. They are also pretty much interested in politics and economics.
