About L!VE

L!VE is a magazine which acts as an interface between SJMSOM and the outsideworld (corporate, IIT Alumni, eminent personalities, thought leaders etc).It strives to bring out the hidden facets of SJMSOM students by stimulatingthought and providing a platform to interact and reach out. Each issue ofL!VE consists of:

  • Coverage of events at SJMSOM and IIT Bombay happened in the past month  and a glance at events to happen in the next few weeks. Every month in  SJMSOM and IITB is filled with events mentioned previously viz. Continuum,  Dikshas, seminars, visits from distinguished leaders, Leadership Lecture  Series and many more. 
  • L!VE also covers our annual flagship event, Avenues, which this year  will mark the beginning of the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of IIT Bombay. 
  • Upcoming trends in major aspects of business viz. Finance, Marketing, Operations, Systems, HR, Consulting, and Entrepreneurship
  • Related  analysis, discussions and case studies. 
  • Insightful articles from IIT Professors, Ph.D. scholars and IIT Alumni,  who hold tremendous experience of the industry and are experts in their  fields. 
  • Creations of SJMSOM students like poetry, paintings, sketches etc. 
  • Trivia consisting business related quizzes, crosswords, puzzles,  contests etc.

L!VE, the magazine of SJMSOM brings in new facets, perspectives and newinsights into the business world. This is a harbinger of the times, whereinall of us aspire to be not just marketing or finance or operations or HRprofessionals but well rounded managers equipped to handle the vagaries of corporate life.
