Colgate-Palmolive is an American MNC operating in FMCG sector. The company was founded in 1806 in New York city by William Colgate.

Colgate-Palmolive India Ltd is its India-based subsidiary that is engaged in personal and dental care business. The company started its operations and advertising at around 1902, and have ever since growing in terms of its reach and brand recall.
