It was the monopoly telecom service provider in Germany until it got privatised but it has been a dominant player thereafter, in the telecom market. DT holds share for other telecom companies as well, and has a strong and loyal subscriber base of 165 million.
The company is based out of Bonn District, Germany. The company’s Chairman and CEO is Timotheus Höttges and has a Supervisory Board comprising of 20 members. The company has approximately 4,667,651,870 shares listed in all the Stock exchanges across Germany and OTCQX (USA). Deutsche Telekom has its presence in more than 50 countries worldwide.
