Hair & Care is a popular hair care brand having a global presence. Hair & Care is made keeping in mind the users. It is for the young generation and is said to be contemporary. There are different varieties available as a part of its marketing mix product portfolio. There are 3 products that are sold under the umbrella of Hair & Care, those are Hair & Care Silk-n-shine, Hair & Care moisturising fruit oils and Hair & Care Dry Fruit oil. The fruit oils have 2 varieties namely the Orange variant which has goodness of orange, pomegranate and strawberries and the Green variant which has the extracts of olives, mosambi and green apple. These are considered as moisturizers and are used to energise hair.

Hair & Care products are targeted towards the Indian customers. As the majority of Indian customers are from middle earning background, the products are made perfectly priced.

Which means they are not kept at high price but also are not sold at cheap price which would be degradation for the company Marico. However, the Hair & Care products are sold at different prices as compared to themselves. The Silk-n-shine is sold at around ₹190 for 100 ml but for fruit oils it costs around ₹240 for 500 ml.

Hair & Care products are available at various places owing to a strong distribution channel of the parent company. These products can be seen at any regular retail shop. Marico being a company with high penetration sells the products at every shop ranging from small retail shops to big supermarkets. Hair & Care products are also sold on online via many platforms. These include popular platforms like Amazon. Apart from retail and stationery stores, they are also sold at medicine stores as they are considered as medications for hair focused customers.

Such stores include big names such as Apollo pharmacy.

Hair & Care Promotion & Advertising Strategy:

The promotional and advertising strategy in the Hair & Care marketing strategy is as follows:

Hair & Care products are marketed and advertised extensively. The promotional strategies include the age-old Television ads to reach every corner of the country. They are endorsed by Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor who is a popular figure among teenage and young girls. In all the promotions, they tend to put focus on telling the viewers about the composition of their products. This in turn helps their customers to get engaged with the value of the product that it wants them to understand. This completes the Hair & Care marketing mix.
