Sephora is a cosmetic brand, dealing with specially women’s segment of cosmetics. It is a subsidiary of Louis Vuitton (LVMH), and owns around 300 brands of different range. The name is derived from ‘Sephos’ meaning pretty and ‘Zipporah’ meaning Beautiful wife.

Chanel is a luxurious fashion brand from France which is known for its haute couture and ready-to wear clothing line along with other premium products such as watches, perfumes, handbags, sunglasses and designer jewellery. Oriflame is a Swedish multi-national beauty products company which has adopted a model of selling directly to the consumer. It was founded in 1967 by Jochnick brothers. Oriflame draws its name from a royal banner of medieval France “Oriflamme”.

7. Maybelline:

Maybelline is a makeup brand based out of US and has its operations throughout the world. It belongs to the French cosmetic company known as L’Oréal. In 1915, a young entrepreneur created the Maybelline company.
