Sony Corporation is a Japan based multinational group of companies bases in Tokyo. Sony was set up as an electronics store by Masaru Ibuka. It went to produce the first tape recorder.

Toshiba Corporation is one of the leading multinational conglomerates in the world. Toshiba is a Japanese based company which is headquartered at Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in the year 1938 after the merger of Shibaura Seisaku-sho and Tokyo Denki.

5. Haier:

Haier Group is a Chinese multinational consumer electronics and home appliances company headquartered in Qingdao, China. Haier is a public company which sells air conditioners, mobile phones, computers, microwaves ovens, washing machines and other white goods. Haier is also present in real estate, finance space, and incubation space though their presence in this field is very less compared to their white goods segment.

Whirlpool is is a global home appliances manufactures present across worldwide. The American multinational manufacturer Whirlpool Corporation is a marketer has headquarters in the US only. The US has been its traditional market few years before but with globalization, the company found more profit in other parts of the world.

7. Samsung:

Samsung is a South Korean company founded by Byung-Chull Lee in 1938. The company started as a trading company and gradually became a multinational conglomerate through many acquisitions and mergers. Samsung Electronics Industry Co Ltd was established in 1969.

8. Microsoft:

In 1975 Bill Gates founded Microsoft along with Paul Allen. It is an American multinational technology company with its headquarter in Washington and has an annual income in excess of US $150 billion. The idea initially was to manufacture only computers but soon they delved into software and Operating System segments, and thus introduced Windows and other such Microsoft Software.

9. Dell:

Dell is a computer technology company founded in 1984 by Michael Dell and headquartered in Round Rock, Texas in United States. Dell sells multiple products like Laptops, Desktop & all in ones, 2 in 1 PC’s, Gaming PC’s, Monitors, Batteries and adapters, Speakers, Storage media, projectors and other computer accessories. It also sells Workstations, Servers, Storage and Networking devices, monitors and other electronic devices among many other.

10. Philips:

Philips was founded in the year 1891 in Netherlands, and the founding members of the company were Gerard Philips along with his father Frederik Philips. The brand line of the company is ‘innovation and you’ which is in line with the mission of the company to make a positive difference in the lives of people. Philips has got three business division: customer lifestyle, healthcare and lighting, and is also a leader in consumer electronics like grooming products, electronics etc.

11. Lenovo:

Lenovo is a Chinese multinational technology company and has its headquarters in Beijing, China. It was founded in the year 1984 by Liu Chuanzhi with a group of ten other engineers. Lenovo sells its products in more than 160 countries around the world.
