Airtel is an Indian based global telecom service company with headquarter at New Delhi, India. Bharti Airtel was founded by Sunil Bharti Mittal in the year 1995. Initially Bharti Cellular Limited started providing services from Delhi when under the brand name ‘Airtel’ and gradually this brand has grown to be the largest mobile network provider in India and fourth largest network provider globally in terms of subscriber base.

In any business, there are several companies & brands which compete with each other by offering similar products & services.

For any company to thrive, it is not only important for them to improve their own products, but to also look at what their competitor is offering.

1. Reliance Jio:

Jio is an LTE mobile network operator in the Indian subcontinent. It is a subsidiary of The Reliance Industries owned by Mr Mukesh Ambani. It is a network that provides 4G & 5G services in India and it is the only operator in the country to provide VoLTE or Voice over LTE over the entire telecom circles which are 22 in number of India.

2. Idea:

Idea Cellular, now known as Vi after its merger with Vodafone in India, is a telecommunications service provider, catering its services within the boundaries of India. Headquartered in Mumbai it is a pan India GSM operator. Idea Cellular was founded in the year 1994 jointly by Aditya Birla Group, AT&T and TATA group.

3. Vodafone:

Vodafone is a British Multinational Telecom company founded in 1991. Vodafone has been ranked among the top five in terms of revenues and in number of connections amongst the operators globally. With the revenue of more than $50 Bn, it owns and operates networks in more than 20 countries.

4. MTNL:

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) is one of the oldest telecom providers in India. It is a Public sector company servicing in India as well as international locations like Mauritius. In India, the company is present in Metro cities of New Delhi and Mumbai.

5. BSNL:

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is one of the largest telecom service in India which provides wide quality network in almost all the parts of India. BSNL which was established in 2000 is offering various services of landline phones, wireless mobile and internet facility with its quality telecom network in country. BSNL is currently focusing in improvement of its telecom network in order to reach out wider audience especially in rural areas which are still not connected with the urban areas.
